On May 3rd we celebrate the 4th edition of our Fashion Symposium . The online workshop "Designing a sustainable fashion future (together): The changing role of the fashion designer" will take place at 16:30h (Barcelona time).
From solitary designers to fashion collectives, designers are turning into holistic thinkers in order to build a sustainable fashion system. In this session, Laura Llonch will share useful tools and insights that will help the fashion creators to face the future challenges.
About the speaker
Laura Llonch
Independent fashion designer and sustainability consultant, with a BA in Fashion and a master’s degree in Sustainability in Fashion and Creative Industries. Her journey has enabled her to work across a diverse range of projects, from crafting products with a slow fashion philosophy into small scale businesses, to creating strategies and activating eco-consciousness at the heart of fast-paced corporate environments. Her passion to drive change within the fashion industry has led her to collaborate with fashion retailers, from designing and facilitating circular economy workshops for senior executives to working as a researcher on the Circular Berlin textiles team.
