Our learning model

LCI Barcelona offers a panoramic and integrated vision of the creative world. Our learning model combines artistic education in design and visual arts with the strategic perspectives of business and marketing, preparing students to navigate the dynamic ecosystem of the creative industries. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students are encouraged to apply their creative skills beyond the studio, connecting art and design with real-world contexts and professional opportunities.

The experience is rooted in the authentic context of Barcelona—an innovative, cosmopolitan city and an international hub for design and culture. Within this vibrant setting, students engage with the cultural and professional landscape that shapes contemporary creative practice. Strong connections with industry also help them build networks, strengthen their portfolios, and leave with a more competitive CV.

    Spring & Fall 12-week programs


    Next intake: Fall 2026 (September 14th – December 3rd)

    If you are interested in studying abroad in Barcelona, we offer 12-weeks programs in both Fall and Spring where you can earn up until 28-32 credits ECTS through a wide selection of both English-taught and Spanish language-learning courses. Gain a solid academic foundation transferable to your home institution, while enjoying extracurricular activities that immerse you in the local culture and enrich your study abroad experience in Barcelona.

    Semester 18-weeks programs (Spanish proficiency required).

    For students seeking a full-semester experience, we offer an 18-week program in Barcelona where you can study alongside local students in Spanish. Choose courses within one of our design specialties—Fashion, Graphic, Interior, Photography, or Animation & Videogames—and immerse yourself in the LCIB creative community. Participation requires Spanish proficiency.

Internships

You can participate in some of our pre-planned excursions.  Fees vary according to the time of the year.

• Semana Santa visit to our Morocco Casa Blanca Campus
