Surely you have noticed that more and more brands are betting on immersive experiences to seduce and attract their users. Their goal is not so much to sell a specific product or service, but to build an original and unique story in which the user feels like the protagonist. Thanks to digital transformation, today it is possible to create incredible experiences that go beyond the screen to find themselves in a physical space where the digital and the real are combined through interaction technologies such as augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR). And who better to talk about these immersive experiences than two great experts like Carmelo and Natàlia.

Carmelo Zappulla, PhD in Architectural Design from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and CEO of External Reference Architects , a multi-awarded architecture and interior design studio that has just dazzled with its exhibition project for the Spain Pavilion at the Dubai 2020 Expo and with WOW, an innovative concept retail space in Madrid. He is the director of our Official Master in Experiential Interior Design .
Natàlia Herèdia, PhD in Design Research from Universidad de Barcelona and graduate in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Pompeu Fabra. She is a specialist in user experience design, researching and defining strategies for products, services and online communication. She currently works as UX research lead at CaixaBank. In the academic field, her research focuses on the role of interaction design in audiovisual communication and television. Natàlia is the director of our Official Master in Interaction Design and Immersive Experiences .
