ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Cristina Ruiz Montesinos
She began her career in 2008 by creating a wedding inspiration blog during her Journalism studies. After several years of working anonymously, the blog Casilda se casa became part of the Vogue header, and she juggled this project with the lifestyle blog My Little Pleaschhures. For seven years, she worked at Vogue as the editor of two of its most successful blogs incognito.
Since 2017, Casilda se casa became an independent website with the same essence as always: to serve as inspiration, find the best suppliers for future brides, and offer honest advice for organizing a wedding.
Cristina has also worked as the coordinator of Vogue Novias and later became an editorial consultant for Hola Novias. Outside the editorial world, she has taught classes in the Wedding Planners course at Condé Nast College and ISEM. At the same time, she has been involved in numerous communication projects, such as the publication of the book Bodas A-Típica from the El Viso editorial.
Over time, she had the opportunity to organize events and calls for brands such as Cartier, Ansorena, Nars, and other brands linked to the bridal sector.
WHAT IS DI55ECCIONS?
DI55ECCIONS are talks from LCI Barcelona focused on the world of design, visual arts, innovation, and creativity. Starting from the 6th season, we reinvented ourselves to give a voice to the most emerging and disruptive talent. And we continue to play with the number five: five guests present in each edition five future trends they believe in (related to their projects, their industry, society in general, etc.), and five references or key aspects of their work.
Are you in? The event is held in Spanish and it is 100% free; you just have to register through Eventbrite, and we will see you on Wednesday, April 24th at 6:00 pm at 209 Balmes street. Don't miss it!
