DI55ECCIONS: "A Window in Time", by Marcela Grassi

On Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m., we invite you to the new talk in our DI55ECCIONS series, featuring award-winning architectural photographer Marcela Grassi. IMPORTANT: The event will be held in Spanish.

Why shouldn't you miss it?

Because architectural and interior photography goes far beyond the frame. Marcela will share her approach to interpreting and translating the vision of architects and designers, and explain why time is a key element in her work. A personal journey through which she hopes to open up new ways of looking at and understanding spaces.

About the lecturer

Born in Argentina, raised in Italy, and based in Barcelona, Marcela Grassi has been an architectural photographer for 19 years. After graduating from the School of Architecture in Ferrara (Italy) and gaining experience in studios, she decided to turn her passion for photography into her profession. Her multicultural background is reflected in an unconventional eye that is always attentive to detail. In 2021 and 2024 she received the Lux Award for Architectural and Interior Photography (Silver and Bronze, respectively).

DI55ECCIONS is LCI Barcelona's talk series dedicated to design, visual arts, innovation, and creativity. Held at our inspiring campus in the 22@ district, the series invites leading professionals from different disciplines to share their experiences, projects, and visions of today's creative industries.
