This year's b'Ars features a remarkable participation from LCI Barcelona
From November 25 to 30, the 11th edition of b'Ars is taking place, and our School is more present than ever. The Barcelona International Arts & VFX Fair is a specialized event that aims to bring a fresh perspective to the VFX industry by uniting the sector's creative talent in a fun and informal environment. Here is an overview of all the activities we are participating in!
On Monday, November 25, at 5:00 PM (Barcelona time), our professor Alex López will lead the online workshop "From Script to Screen". This session will focus on the workflow directors follow from the moment they receive a script to the point it becomes a film or series.
On Wednesday, November 27, at 10:00 AM (Barcelona time), speaker Mar Expósito will reveal the secrets of fascinating Japanese animation in the online workshop "Animating Like the Japanese! What Makes Them Different?". The session will delve into the roots of its style and the production methods that make every piece unmistakably "anime", exploring how studios operate, their creative structure, and the distinctive techniques of their animation departments.
On Friday, November 29, our campus will host the b'Ars Job Fair, in which students and professionals in the animation and VFX sectors will connect with top companies such as Mediapro, Gameloft, or Sauvage, and others.
And there is more! On the same Friday, November 29, from 8:00 PM to midnight, our campus will also host the final After b'Ars party, featuring live music by DJ Kapi, gastronomy by Con V de Vero, and the I b'Ars Short Film Exhibition. Four short films, selected by a jury of experts, will be screened to connect emerging creativity with the professional community.
