The jury highlighted the building’s functionality, aesthetics, and commitment to intelligent sustainability, conceived to enhance creativity, dialogue, and the wellbeing of the entire educational community. As stated in the official Prix Versailles press release, the architecture honored is not evaluated solely for its beauty, but for its ability to elevate the human experience, respond to cultural context, and contribute to a sustainable future. At the LCI Barcelona campus, every corner is designed for students and faculty to create, experiment, and connect in a unique environment.
Created in 2015, the Prix Versailles is considered the most prestigious recognition in the world of contemporary architecture. Its categories include university campuses, museums, airports, hotels, restaurants, and transportation stations, celebrating projects that combine innovation, cultural integration, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence. This year’s edition brought together in Paris the 72 projects selected as “World’s Most Beautiful”, among which the LCI Barcelona campus was proclaimed the winner in its category.

Behind this achievement is the Barcelona-based studio Circular Studio, led by Ivan Serrano Vidal and Fernando Ansorena, leading figures in architecture and interior design since 2006. Their proposal for LCI Barcelona integrates contemporary design, local identity, and sustainability, shaping a campus that, inaugurated in 2024, has become a driver of creativity and an example of how architecture can transform the educational experience.
At LCI Barcelona, our students learn in an exceptional environment designed to boost their talent and connect them with a constantly growing creative community. Today we can proudly say: the LCI Barcelona campus, the European hub of the LCI Education network, is the most beautiful in the world!
