About the project

What remains when everything changes constantly? This question, posed by thinkers such as Zygmunt Bauman and Karl Marx, remains relevant in a modernity where identity is built and fragmented simultaneously. Consumption promises to redefine the self, but generates symbolic accumulation and an illusion of individuality. The collection explores this tension through fashion, using concepts such as uniformity, repetition, status, authenticity, and layering to visually translate the construction of contemporary identity.
