About the project

I am simply myself, with everything I feel and everything I carry, but at the same time with no intention of figuring out who I am — only clear about one thing: that I cannot create unless it comes from within me, that I need to connect personally with everything I make in order to feel proud of it, and that if it does not move me, it loses its meaning. This collection gathers much of what builds me as a person: things I love, things that worry me, the people around me, and above all, art as a constant and spontaneous form of expression, always prioritizing the process, the enjoyment, and the freedom of expression it allows me. Art is one of the few spaces where I feel more or less safe and validated — like a ray of sunlight in winter, or almost like the air I breathe. I said I have no intention of knowing who I am, and that is true, but I can also tell you that without creating, I would feel a little emptier, a little less myself. Over the years I have refined my methods, made peace with the way I am, and allowed myself to create from absolute chaos. That has quieted that little voice of inadequacy somewhat, and now I no longer try to resemble anything; now, the most valuable thing about my art is that it is mine, and I can only express that in the fact that the whole collection is a giant hug to every version of me that has brought me here. Everything dyed in red, white, and a range of ecrus, as if each look were a different character representing a part of me. Small drawings brought to life, painted in a carefree way with red touches, featuring wide silhouettes that narrow irregularly and geometric volumes, alongside simple knit structures.
