Adrián Fernández

PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de València, with a master’s degree in software engineering, formal methods and information systems, and a degree in computer engineering. He is a specialist in user experience (UX) research, with a multidisciplinary approach that integrates usability, human-computer interaction, metrics, software quality, and empirical methods.
He is currently Design Research Lead and Innovation Domain Lead at the SCRM Lidl International Hub, where he leads the research strategy for design and innovation. He is also Global Head Expert at Nuclio Digital School, coordinating UX/UI training internationally, and a lecturer at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, teaching UX metrics and applied statistics courses.
He has developed his career as a researcher and lecturer at international universities and centers such as NC State University, Politecnico di Milano, and Universitat Politècnica de València, and as a UX researcher at companies such as Wallapop, Softonic, and Payment Innovation Hub.
With over 15 years of experience, he combines methodological rigor and strategic vision to generate user insights and guide design decisions in complex technological environments. He has published numerous academic studies on usability evaluation and model-driven web development.
