Arianna Rinaldo
Curator, photo editor, and educator specializing in contemporary documentary photography. With a degree in Chinese Philology, a Master’s in Media Ecology, and a Master’s in Cultural Management, her research focuses on innovative visual storytelling methodologies and the development of platforms that expand the reach of photography.
She began her career as archive director at Magnum Photos (New York) and has worked as photo editor for "Colors" magazine (Italy) and director of "OjodePez" (Spain). She was the artistic director of the Cortona On The Move festival for ten years and is currently curator of the PhEST Festival (Italy), which she co-founded in 2016.
Her teaching approach is strongly practice-oriented: she guides students in the editing, planning, and production of photographic projects, fostering original visual languages and engagement with contemporary references. She also mentors emerging photographers at the international level.
