Arnau Quiles
Editor, director, and audiovisual producer with extensive experience in documentary, animation, motion graphics, advertising, and video art. His work explores the intersections between audiovisual language, contemporary narrative, and research into new formats and media.
He graduated in Film and Audiovisual Media from ESCAC and holds a Master’s degree in Digital Arts from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He began his career at Estudio Mariscal, where he collaborated on international multimedia projects. He has been editor of the animated feature films "Chico & Rita" and "They Shot the Piano Player", directed by Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal, and has worked with filmmakers such as Pedro Almodóvar and Andrés Vicente Gómez. He is co-founder of Estudi Playtime and author of the books "Producción de Cine Digital" and "Nuevos Formatos de Cine Digital".
His teaching combines critical analysis, experimentation, and technical expertise, encouraging the exploration of innovative narratives in contemporary audiovisuals. He is currently developing new projects in documentary, fiction, and animation, and preparing his upcoming book "El cortometraje documental".
