Mario Ferrer

Graduate in Marketing with postgraduate training in creativity for digital products, copywriting, content design, and human-computer interaction. He is a specialist in content design and UX writing with over 15 years of experience in digital content design, microcopy, communication strategy, and creative leadership.
He is currently Staff Content Designer at Shopify, where he leads content design for digital products in areas such as growth and collaboration, and coordinates community and practice initiatives in content design. He combines this role with teaching in various master’s programs, as well as delivering a successful introductory UX Writing course for Domestika.
He has worked at companies such as King, Skyscanner, and Softonic, where he established guidelines, processes, and systems to integrate content design into user experience and product narrative, in addition to leading teams and training designers and stakeholders.
With a human, clear, and strategic approach to language, he combines creativity, business vision, and technical expertise to design digital experiences that are accessible, consistent, and meaningful for users.
