Mathias Klenner

Architect from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, with a Master’s in Sound Art from the University of Barcelona and a PhD candidate in Fine Arts at the same university. He is an architect, sound artist, and artistic researcher with a career that combines spatial creation, critical research, and sound experimentation.
He leads the Espacios Resonantes project, where he explores the relationships between space, sound, and experience through installations, performances, and experimental pieces. He is a founding member of the collective TOMA Arquitectos, with which he has developed, for over a decade, research and creative projects ranging from critical interventions, object design, and sound installations to the renovation of cultural spaces, television programs, publications, and websites. He has also worked as a lecturer at the Universidad de Las Américas (Chile), teaching architectural design, supervising final projects, and coordinating outreach activities.
His work proposes new ways of perceiving and inhabiting spaces through sound and architecture, with a transdisciplinary approach that bridges art, design, and contemporary critique.
