PhD from the University of Vienna, Moritz is a curator, educator, and researcher specialized in photography, new media, and cultural accessibility. His work explores the circuits of circulation and visibility of contemporary imagery within the global ecosystem.

He has collaborated with institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art (New York), La Fábrica (Madrid), and PhotoIreland (Dublin). He is the editor of "The Routledge Companion to Photography and Visual Culture" and "The Routledge Companion to Photography, Representation and Social Justice" (Taylor & Francis, New York), and he directs the Photobook Week Aarhus (Denmark).

In his teaching, he combines curatorial practice, critical theory, and collaborative learning. He also leads The Curator Ship, an international resource platform for visual artists, and develops cultural accessibility projects in museums through his initiative ArteConTacto.
