Design Lab
Located on floor S (-1) of the campus, the Design Lab is an ecosystem of innovation, technique, and experimentation where our students and faculty transform their ideas into tangible projects. This large space houses various laboratories equipped with the necessary technology to provide specialized support for all the disciplines we teach.
- TecnoFab Lab
A workshop designed for fabrication and prototyping projects. It features machinery such as the CNC-STEP High Z S-1400T, a circular saw, sander, and a set of power tools that allow work with hard materials and small-scale industrial processes. - Textile Lab
Focused on textile processes, this space includes the EPSON SC-F6200 textile printer, a UV exposure unit, and heat presses for fabric printing and customization. - LaserCut Lab
This lab is home to two powerful laser cutters: Lasercut PC 10/80II and PC 16/10II, as well as a materials library for testing and development. It allows for precise cutting and engraving on a wide variety of surfaces. - Graphic Lab
A space specialized in graphic printing and visual design. It includes high-end printers such as the EPSON P5300, EPSON SC-T5405, Roland VersaSTUDIO GS2-24, and an A3 2D scanner, along with a dedicated room for assembly and graphic work. - 3D Print Lab
Dedicated to 3D printing, this lab includes a wide range of printers such as the Zortrax M300plus, Prusa XL, and several Artillery models. It supports the creation of models, prototypes, and three-dimensional objects across all disciplines. - TecnoFab Classroom
A space equipped with a screen, designed for presentations, theoretical sessions, and technical training related to workshop use.

All these spaces are managed by Hernani Silva, a multidisciplinary designer, graphic arts specialist, producer, and creator. Hernani guides and advises the entire LCI Barcelona community in the technical and conceptual development of their projects within the Design Lab.
