Fashion Week

Fashion with LCI DNA at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

Students and alumni from our School showcase their talent at the international event for the bridal sector.

From April 23 to 27, a new edition of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is being held. This international event turns the city into the global epicentre of bridal fashion. For five days, fashion shows and the exhibition area bring together creativity, business, and global visibility at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc Premises.

At LCI Barcelona, we strengthen our collaboration with BBFW through various initiatives that connect the talent of our students with the reality of the professional sector:

  • Accessories contest for Vivienne Westwood
Fashion Design students are participating in a creative project in collaboration with the Vivienne Westwood brand, presenting their proposals to its creative director, Andreas Kronthaler, in a meeting that also featured the presence of Albasari Caro, director of the event.
  • Illustration exhibition at the Trade Show
On April 25, 26, and 27, the exhibition space of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will host a showcase of bridal and haute couture fashion illustrations created by our students.
  • Access to the Vivienne Westwood post-show carousel
More than 100 students have been invited to attend the post-show carousel following the Vivienne Westwood runway at Barcelona Bridal Night.

In addition, four alumni from LCI are presenting their latest collections at this edition of BBFW:

  • Marta Martí
She founded her label in Barcelona, embracing slow fashion and a sustainable, artisanal production process. From her showroom and workshop in the city centre, she designs custom bridal and guest dresses together with her team.
  • Andrea Lalanza
Her brand creates unique dresses for brides and guests who want to feel special on their big day. Each piece is handcrafted, made to measure, and with special attention to detail. This carefully considered and personal approach led her to open her own atelier.
  • Lorena Panea
Drawing inspiration from Antiquity, she applies ancestral techniques to develop timeless designs for today’s women. Based in Barcelona, her collections have walked major runways and have been featured by industry media and key figures.
  • Immaclé
From her workshop in Canet de Mar, she designs and handcrafts bridal dresses made to measure with high-quality fabrics, reflecting each bride’s essence. The delicate and meticulous process allows the designs to be tailored to each client’s preferences. The brand has showrooms in both Barcelona and Madrid.

Proud to celebrate #MadeInLCI talent in this major showcase of bridal fashion and to continue building real connections between our students and the industry.
