On May 19, the Teatre Victòria hosted the graduation ceremony for the Higher Artistic Education (class of 2021–2025), organized by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The event brought together the students who are completing their studies this academic year at the various Higher Artistic Education schools under the Department of Education, including LCI Barcelona.

Nearly 1,200 people attended the ceremony, presided over by Teresa Sambola (General Secretary for Education and Vocational Training) and featuring performances of music, dance, and drama, as well as video presentations from all participating schools. The patron of this graduating class is set designer and costume designer Montse Amenós, who holds a degree in Dramatic Art from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.

The graphic identity of the event, featured on the honorary diploma, folder, and program, has been created by our student Inés Asens (Bachelor’s in Graphic Design), who also spoke on behalf of the School during the ceremony. Her proposal is inspired by the laurel plant, a symbol of victory and wisdom. The diploma folder represents the laurel flower, which, when opened, reveals the fruit: the diploma — a metaphor for the student as the result of years of growth, dedication, and learning. A project that combines design, symbolism, and functionality, perfect for an event of this significance.
