Craft Your Future launches, the advanced industrial pattern making course by LCI Barcelona and MANGO

In collaboration with MANGO, one of the leading international fashion brands with presence in more than 120 markets, we are launching this week Craft Your Future, a program aimed at training technical profiles capable of facing the challenges of the fashion industry through a practical, collaborative methodology applied to current challenges.
The course, funded by MANGO and delivered at our facilities, has a duration of five months and offers training applied to real-world environments. In this first edition, around twenty students are taking part, including Fashion Design students seeking technical specialization in pattern making and industrial garment construction, as well as young professionals looking to update their skills in digital and sustainable processes.
“Craft has been part of our identity for 40 years: it is the know-how that gives value to the fashion trade and lies at the heart of everything we do at MANGO. With Craft Your Future, we want to open this knowledge to the industry and pass it on to new generations, helping to ensure generational renewal in essential professions and offering real opportunities for training and professional development to young talent”, explains Blanca Muñiz, Brand Director at MANGO, regarding the purpose of the program.

Throughout the course, students will deepen their knowledge of industrial pattern making, advanced garment construction, digital prototyping, and quality processes, combining innovation, sustainability, and technical development. The curriculum is structured into four modules addressing industry challenges and sustainability, garment industrialization and quality processes, digital design and prototyping, and a final project in which students will develop real prototypes to be presented to a professional jury. The program also features an expert committee made up of professionals from fashion, education, and communication who will support the project’s development and ensure that the contents respond to the real needs of the industry.
With a history of nearly 100 years dedicated to training new talent in the sector, our Fashion School is consolidated as a benchmark institution that brings together legacy, pedagogical innovation, and a close connection with industry. This relationship materializes in collaborations such as Craft Your Future that are aimed at fostering the creative and professional development of new generations.
