ADCE High Potentials 2026 highlights Lisa Ulrich, Graphic Design student, among Europe’s most promising emerging creatives
Our student will present her award-winning project “Arko Typeface” this Wednesday, May 6, at the Disseny Hub Barcelona auditorium, before leading international agencies and studios.

On May 6 and 7, the Disseny Hub Barcelona will host the 9th edition of ADCE High Potentials, an initiative by the Art Directors Club of Europe that brings together Europe’s most promising young creatives with leading international agencies and studios. Among the 30 selected talents from 7 countries and 21 schools is Lisa Ulrich, a student from our Bachelor’s in Graphic Design.
This Wednesday, May 6, Lisa will take the stage at the Disseny Hub auditorium to present Arko Typeface, her geometric sans-serif typeface project that explores the coexistence between humanity and technology. Supervised by lecturer Marc Salinas, the project reflects on the growing fusion between humans and artificial intelligence through the design of the typeface itself: curves that convey emotion and movement coexist with vertices of mechanical logic, resulting in a typeface that acts as a statement on the role of AI in today’s society. The project is materialized through an editorial specimen, a three-dimensional piece, and two posters that further develop its narrative.

Arko Typeface arrives at ADCE High Potentials backed by a strong track record of recognition: the project received the New Talent award at the Selekted festival (in an edition with more than 860 submissions from schools across Spain), and had previously been awarded at the Veredictas Awards and selected for the Brut! festival.
Lisa will present her work in five minutes before leading agencies and studios such as Havas Milan, NotReal, Peter Schmidt Group, Philipp und Keuntje, Shophouse, and Silverside.ai, who will also share their vision and hiring methodologies. This year’s selection, curated by program director Hans-Peter Albrecht, received a record number of applications (close to 170). ADCE High Potentials will conclude with a professional speed dating session, ten-minute one-to-one meetings designed to simulate real interviews.
