Ayagoz Bazhanova, Animation student, named Portfolio of the Week on The Rookies
This recognition adds to the one her fellow student Ariadna Galdeano received a few weeks ago.
The talent of Ayagoz Bazhanova, a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, has been recognized by the international platform The Rookies with the distinction of Portfolio of the Week.
“The audiovisual world has been part of my life since I was little. Over the years, I have become increasingly interested in everything that goes on behind masterpieces such as Spider‑Verse,” explains our student. Her admiration for the craft and her awareness of the work it involves led her to begin her studies at LCI Barcelona with the goal of becoming an animator, storyboarder, and concept artist. The portfolio with which Ayagoz has been selected reflects both her artistic sensitivity and her technical skills.
This recognition strengthens our presence on The Rookies, a global platform and community for emerging digital artists, students, and recent graduates in fields such as animation, video games, visual effects (VFX), and design. We are part of The Rookies through LCI Education, thus consolidating our direct connection with the international creative industry and with spaces that act as a bridge between junior talent and the professional world.
Ayagoz’s achievement adds to that of her fellow student Ariadna Galdeano, whose portfolio received the same recognition a few weeks ago. “As a child, I was a great admirer of Disney films, especially because of their character design,” says the student, who decided to study the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation to become an animator and concept artist. Ariadna loves creating stories and magical worlds that connect with audiences and make them reflect.
