Here's how the class of 2026 defended their final projects

Over these past few weeks, our bachelor's, vocational training, master's, and postgraduate students have presented the projects that mark the end of their studies.

June and July have been two intense months at LCI Barcelona. Our final-year students from bachelor's and advanced vocational training programs, as well as master's and postgraduate students, have wrapped up their studies by defending their final projects before panels made up of area heads, program directors, and industry professionals. Many of these projects are born out of real briefs set by companies that challenge students to give their very best.

The advanced vocational training programs kicked off the calendar in mid-June. Students from the programs in Projects and Direction of Decoration Works; 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments; and Pattern Making and Fashion presented their work in various rooms across the campus. Their graduation followed a few days later — the first end-of-year ceremony of the season.

From June 29 to July 1, students from the bachelor's programs in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, and Interior Design showcased their final degree projects to the world at NEW'26 - The Festival of New Ideas. This major event, held across our Parking Gallery and campus plaza, featured an exhibition, presentations, and fashion shows (you can relive it all in our recap). After the festival, the new designers officially defended their projects before panels that assessed both the process and the final outcome of each proposal.

Our master's and postgraduate students also presented their final projects over the past few weeks, leading up to their graduation ceremony on July 17 (the same day as the bachelor's ceremony).
