Our alumni Inés Asens is one of the 24 finalists in the 9th edition of the Gaudeamus PROJECTA Awards, organized by the Col·legi Oficial de Disseny Gràfic de Catalunya to recognize the best graphic design graduation projects across Spain. The selection brings together the most outstanding projects from the last academic year across all participating schools.

Her work, Gible, is an interactive tool that translates emotional states into visual compositions through a system based on neurobiological principles. The proposal poses a simple yet profound question: how do we visually represent what is sometimes hard to put into words? The project combines design, emotion, and visual language in an original way. Mentored by lecturer Sergi Carbonell, Gible was named the best final degree project of its graduating class in the Bachelor's in Graphic Design, and our alumni presented it at Brut!, the event linked to the Blanc! festival hosted by the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

The winners of this edition of Gaudeamus PROJECTA will be announced on June 19 at the awards ceremony taking place at the Palau Robert, where all 24 finalists will present their projects publicly. Congratulations on making the shortlist, Inés, and best of luck!
