This week we're holding a Welcome Week marking the start of the 2026-2027 academic year for students in official bachelor's degrees and advanced vocational training programs.
Our General Director, Sílvia Viudas, and Academic Director, Miljana Micovic, welcomed new students on the first day of activities, which also included a meeting with the heads of department and a guided tour of the campus. Sessions will continue throughout this week and part of next week, covering teaching methodology, academic policies, student services, and campus life.
The Welcome Week program also includes a talk by Luis Diego Quirós, COO for the Latin America region at LCI Education, taking place this Thursday, and the Find Your Creative Match event, which will be held next Tuesday, September 22.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, we have 925 students – 300 of whom are starting their studies at LCI Barcelona this year – split between bachelor's degree programs (770, with 40% coming from abroad) and advanced vocational training (155). Together, they represent 81 different nationalities. Master's and postgraduate students will join in October.

Erasmus+ and mobility students in the LCI network
This week we're also welcoming 19 international mobility students, from the Erasmus+ program and LCI Education's campus network. They come from Norway (OsloMet), the Netherlands (Breda University), Portugal (Universidade de Lisboa, ESAD), Italy (LABA Brescia, IUAD), Germany (HAW Hamburg, HTW Berlin, Pforzheim University - School of Design, Academy of Fine Arts Munich), France (LISAA), and Mexico (LCI Monterrey), joining a network of mobility agreements with 35 international universities.
