Seven LCI Barcelona projects honored at the 2026 Veredictas Cum Laude Awards

Students Paula Haro, Lisa Ulrich, Andrea Ferrer, and Valentina Posternak, from the Bachelor's in Graphic Design, have been honored at this international competition organized by the Veredictas International Foundation.

The academic year starts with great news for our Graphic Design area! In the latest edition of the Veredictas Cum Laude Awards, a leading competition in the Spanish-speaking design world, several students from the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design have earned two Honor Cum Laude (the highest distinction) and five Cum Laude selections (recognition reserved for the top-quality finalist projects).

In the packaging category, students Lisa Ulrich and Andrea Ferrer have won an Honor Cum Laude with the candle brand "Arôme", which reinterprets French fine pastry in miniature form. Both have also received a Cum Laude selection for "Koko", a coconut milk brand designed for both consumption and hair care. In the same category, their classmate Paula Haro has earned another Cum Laude selection for "KAO", a conceptual chocolate brand centered on the packaging itself as the main visual appeal.

In typography, Paula Haro has also won an Honor Cum Laude for "Virea", a typeface inspired by the shape and rhythm of flowers, while student Lisa Ulrich has received a Cum Laude selection for the project "Arko Typeface", which reflects on the coexistence between humans and artificial intelligence.

The last two distinctions have come in separate categories: a Cum Laude selection for best printed medium for "Bioedén Nº001 Hydra", an experimental scientific-biological magazine developed by Lisa Ulrich, and a Cum Laude selection for best digital design for "Aligna", a yoga and wellness platform created together by Lisa Ulrich, Andrea Ferrer, and Valentina Posternak.
