This poster advertises an event called NXT, an emerging talent showcase happening on April 16th from 16:15 to 18:30 at Disseny Hub Barcelona.

OFFF Barcelona, one of the world's leading festivals for design, art, and creativity, celebrates its 26th edition April 16-18 at the Disseny Hub. Our School is part of the event through Jaume Álvarez, Olivia Duffin, and Iris García, final-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, who present their project Mobio this Thursday, April 16, from 4:15 p.m. at the festival's NXT section.

Our students have designed a connected digital ecosystem that reimagines the relationship between people and their home furniture. The platform brings together a mobile app, a Smart TV interface, and a physical smart object to support the entire furniture journey — from initial inspiration and spatial planning through to purchase, guided assembly, and ongoing maintenance. Using artificial intelligence, room scanning, 3D modeling, and augmented reality, Mobio turns what is typically a fragmented experience into one that is structured, intuitive, and shared. The project was mentored by faculty members Quico Domingo and Josep Ortega.

NXT is OFFF Barcelona's platform for the next generation of creatives. This edition launches a new format: each participating design school selects a student or group of students to pitch their project live to the festival's audience. For Jaume, Olivia, and Iris, this is a great opportunity to present their work to an international audience — and further proof that LCI Barcelona produces creatives with real potential in the industry.
