This Tuesday, June 2, we celebrated the 6th edition of the LCI Barcelona Job Fair, the annual employability event organized by the Business area of the Student Services team to connect our students with the most relevant companies in the creative industries.
The day kicked off with the talk “From idea to impact: two ways of entrepreneurship”, led by Joan Gallego and Jordi Puig from Plus Value, which explored creative entrepreneurship and the ability to transform ideas into real-impact projects. Two success stories from the business world rounded off the session with an inspiring perspective on the present and future of the sector.
From 10:00 am, over 20 companies spread across the Agora and Forum spaces of our campus to hold one-on-one interviews with students from all areas:
- Fashion: Inditex, Mango, Rosa Clará, eseOese, Sevica, and Encuentro.
- Interior design: Orac, Ros Falguera, Studio LHB, Volta, and Lamaca Events.
- Graphic design and marketing: Lamaca Events, Inditex, Droyz Toys, and Studio LHB.
- Video games and animation: Droyz Toys and Fulla Animation Studio.
- Photography: Valid Foto BCN and Inditex.
By the end of the day, over 800 interviews had taken place, making this the most active edition in the history of the Job Fair.
Recruiting sessions with Tendam and H&M
The employability week was rounded off with two exclusive recruiting sessions with international leaders in the fashion industry. Tendam (a group present in over 70 countries with brands including Cortefiel, Springfield, Pedro del Hierro, and Women'secret) presented its corporate culture and the profiles it is currently looking for, and opened up one-on-one interviews so our students could showcase their CVs and portfolios.
H&M dedicated its session specifically to Fashion students: company professionals presented their lines of business, shared key advice on building a high-level portfolio, and opened a direct channel for participants to submit their applications and receive personalized feedback from the recruitment team.

Thank you to all the students who took part, and to the companies and teams involved for making this week a real opportunity for the future of #MadeInLCI talent.
