September is already here, bringing with it the question that keeps coming up in so many households these days: what will you study, or where? By now, some people already have their place sorted; others are still weighing it up, or have found that their original plan didn't quite work out. If that's you, there's still time to enroll at LCI Barcelona for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Bachelor's degree entrance exam

To get into an official bachelor’s degree in Design, you'll need to pass an entrance exam with two parts. Part A is a written commentary exercise lasting one hour and fifteen minutes (if you've already sat the Spanish university entrance exams, known as PAU, this part is waived). Part B has three exercises marked together: one on representation, one interpreting a piece of Catalan cultural heritage, and one evaluating a design object. This year, the September sitting takes place on Tuesday the 8th. A few days earlier (on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September) we're running preparation sessions on campus to walk you through the format of each exercise and how it's marked.

Thinking about an advanced vocational training program?

Entry to our advanced vocational programs (Pattern Making and Fashion; Projects and Direction of Decoration Works; 3D Animation, Games, and Interactive Environments) has its own requirements, which vary slightly depending on your previous qualifications.
