His teaching and research career focuses on cinema, digital narratives, the fan phenomenon, collaborative cultural practices, immersive and transmedia projects, and more recently, the relationship between storytelling and environmental sustainability.
He also designs narrative board games as research and intervention tools to foster visual creativity and open debate on social issues. With the Mediaccions research group, he has promoted educational experiences in schools and camps, presented at conferences, in publications, and at science outreach events such as the Festa de la Ciència and the Setmana de la Ciència in Barcelona. He is currently working on transferring these results to broaden their impact.
His approach combines creativity and applied research to explore the cultural and social transformations of contemporary audiovisual media and the possibilities of storytelling in educational and social contexts.
