  • Legalization/homologation of studies

Steps to be followed by the international student

Before your arrival in town

  • Admission and registration at LCI Barcelona: One of the School's advisers will inform you of the program that interests you most and, if you wish, you can begin the admission process. After submitting the required documentation, a committee will evaluate your application and confirm your admission. To formalize it, you must fill out the relevant forms and pay the registration fee.
  • Obtaining the registration certificate: The Admissions Department will send you a document confirming your registration at LCI Barcelona. You will need to present this certificate in the application for a study visa or NIE (compulsory procedure once the student arrives in Spain).
  • Visa application to the Diplomatic Missions or Spanish Consular Offices in your countryThe student visa must be processed only in those cases in which the training period exceeds 90 days. Otherwise, a tourist visa will be valid.

Planning of the trip and stay in Barcelona

  • The School has collaboration agreements with student residences and other types of accommodation that offer preferential conditions to LCI Barcelona students. When you formalize your enrollment, you will obtain a guide that includes all the information in this regard and you will have the advice of the center's professionals.

Upon your arrival in the city

  • Processing of the NIE: You must request the document in one of these two offices:
    • International community students (within the European Union): Rambla Guipúzcoa Immigration Office (by appointment).
    • International non-EU students (outside the European Union): Passeig Sant Joan Immigration Office. It is necessary to make an appointment with the Admissions Department to sign the enrollment and other procedures related to the student's file.
