Somatosensory clay workshop

  • March 26, 2026
  • 11:00 AMto 1:00 PM
  • LCI Barcelona Campus (carrer d'Àlaba, 124)

The aim of this workshop, led by alumni and professor Maria Lledó Cisneros (coordinator of our Master's in Neuroarchitecture and Bioconstruction), is to raise awareness among participants about the benefits of healthy paints and natural materials in the built environment, allowing them to experience in a practical and sensory way the principles of biophilia, bioconstruction, and neuroarchitecture — in other words, spaces that care for us through their materiality.

Through the direct handling of clay-based paints, participants will embody their creativity while connecting with ancestral and ecological materials that promote a more conscious way of inhabiting spaces, respectful of both human health and the environment.

The creative exercise consists of painting the representation of an iconic design furniture piece on a wooden board that each participant will be able to take home, offering a first in-depth approach to clay paint aits remarkable benefits: rich textures, natural scents, humidity-regulating properties, and a positive impact on physical and emotional wellbeing.

A collaborative experience that encourages awareness around the avoidance of toxins in everyday spaces, inviting a more harmonious relationship with architecture and design.

A creative, slow, conscious, and healthy morning! The event will be held in Spanish. Sign up though this link.
