Syllabus
MODULE I: WELLBEING. DEFINITION AND CONTEXT (6 ECTS)
- Definition and parameters of holistic wellbeing.
- Health and wellbeing in a historical context.
- Universal design parameters.
- Practical application to an existing space.
MODULE II: BIOCONSTRUCTION. ENVIRONMENTAL MEASUREMENTS (12 ECTS)
- Definition and context of bioconstruction.
- Physical, chemical, and biological factors.
- Ergonomics and proxemics.
- Materials, sustainability, and health.
- Color perception and wellbeing.
- Lighting and biocompatible installations.
- Practical application: Environmental measurements in an LCI classroom.
MODULE III: EXPERIMENTAL NEUROARCHITECTURE. USER MEASUREMENTS (12 ECTS)
- Neuroscience of the body.
- Definition and context of neuroarchitecture.
- Neuroarchitecture, urban environment, and buildings.
- Neuroarchitecture and interior space.
- Neurophysiological parameters.
- Development of design tools.
- Practical application: User measurements in an LCI classroom. Pilot study.
MODULE IV: NEUROARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY (10 ECTS)
- Definition and context of environmental psychology.
- Perceptual and reactive systems.
- Psycho-emotional factors in relation to space.
- Color psychology.
- Biophilia and connection with the natural environment.
- Practical application: Self-assessment questionnaires – user.
MODULE V: COMMUNICATION AND PROMOTION OF WELLBEING SPACES (8 ECTS)
- Managing a communication plan.
- Graphic expression and communication techniques.
- Press kits and dissemination strategies.
- Artificial intelligence applied to communication.
- Practical application: impact analysis, social media, web analytics, and KPI detection.
MASTER'S FINAL THESIS (12 ECTS)
You will develop a formal proposal for methodology or space design within the theoretical-practical framework of the master's program. Projects may include spatial intervention proposals, research, or methodologies, as long as they integrate the program's content approach.
