LCI x Blanc! 2022: four not-to-be-missed leadership talks
Blanc! 14th edition brought the curtain down last Saturday after three days full of design, creativity and innovation. As the event's partner school, we were in Vilanova i la Geltrú participating in Radio B! (the radio space of the festival) through four talks moderated by our academic director Ruben Monmany. All of them had leadership as a common thread, one of the central themes of this year's Blanc!.
For the first one we had our professor Paola Cirelli, founder of the studio Fashion Design Thinking and the podcast Maldita Moda Club. During the conversation, we addressed issues such as women leadership, branding from small business, transversality and sustainability.
The guest speaker of the second talk was professor Dani Cantó, senior creative director, cultural activist and member of the Cuarentena Fest organization. Born during the confinement, this streaming music festival brought together independent record companies and bands from all over Spain and even abroad. It is a great example of co-leadership and collaborative work, a platform of visibility broadcasted from the artists' homes through their YouTube channels.
The third of our talks for Blanc! N14 featured Marc Morillas, CEO of the agency Morillas (which leads the Master in Branding and Brand Strategy). With 85 national and international awards received and considered one of the 11 best agencies in the world by the prestigious World Brand Design Society, Morillas has just celebrated 60 years of history led by three generations of a family closely linked to design. Marc and Ruben talked about the trajectory of the agency and the evolution of branding.
Without leaving the branding sector, the fourth and last talk starred Olmo García and Pablo Salas from Bold. This agency has been designing meaningful brands since 2007 by combining creativity and strategy. Its professionals discover the essence of each brand and bring it to life through a story capable of convincing and connecting. Olmo and Pablo immersed us in the Bold universe and shared with us and all the viewers their vision of branding.
One more year (and this is the third consecutive edition), we are delighted to be Blanc! partners and being part of the festival founded by Raúl Ramos and David D'Eboli. Not only through these Radio B! streamings, but also with the LCI stand that was installed in La Daurada during the whole event and the participation of our alumni Paola Sight Morelli and Joel Lloret (Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design) in Campus Blanc! held in early October in Barcelona's Museu del Disseny.
The countdown to #BlancFest2023 is on!
