Animation and Video Games final project presentation at Phenomena

Nobody wanted to miss the opportunity to enjoy the #MadeInLCI talent in one of the biggest cinema screens in the country.
A split-image poster; on the left, a subtle depiction of a person's lower half next to a potted plant, titled "LIFETIME", on the right, a vibrant game advertisement for "HALCYON THE WAYBORN" with a central character and a colorful bird.

On June 27th, our final year learners of Animation and Video Game Design presented their final projects in the spectacular Sala Phenomena Experience cinema, and they did it accompanied by family, friends, faculty, classmates, staff of the School, and representatives of companies in the sector.

Ariadna Puigdemasa, Alexandra Sörensen, Laia López, Carla Vega, Beatrice Morillo, and Paula Martínez, Animation learners, premiered their short film "Lifetime". The movie's main character is Clara, a happy and loving girl whose life changes after an unexpected event. The objective of the short film, in addition to showing Clara's life cycle, is to convey a hopeful message about the importance of making the most of our time.

For their part, Video Game Design learners Kevin Félix, Pablo Álvarez, Arnau Gallofré, Gabriel García, Adrián Mateos, Giovanni Luca Paratore, and Xavier Trillo presented their video game Halcyon under the brand SummerHouse Games. In this pirate adventure, which you can enjoy in Itch.io, you will play Hendrick, a young apprentice corsair who longs for fame and fortune. Together with the enigmatic parrot Perkins, you will embark on the search for the treasure of the legendary buccaneer August Flint. Your cards will decide your fate.

Our learners presented their projects in front of a professional jury of each sector who evaluated them and gave them feedback. Congratulations to all!
