We are starting the 2024-2025 academic year at our stunning new campus!
This week marks the start of a very special academic year at LCI Barcelona, highlighted by the inauguration of our new campus in the 22@ district. The facilities are now ready to welcome students, faculty, and staff as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
On Monday, we hosted a Welcome Day for new students in our bachelor's degrees and advanced vocational training programs (CFGS). During the first part of the event, our General Director, Sílvia Viudas, along with Alessandro Manetti, Vice President Europe of LCI Education, and the Academic Department, led by Miljana Micovic, gave an official welcome to the attendees. Later, the Student Services team organized various activities to help them integrate and familiarize themselves with the new campus.
A total of 340 first-year students are joining our bachelor's and CFGS programs, which officially began classes this Thursday (students in master's and postgraduate programs will start in mid-October). Additionally, we continue to strengthen our international outlook: 40% of the new students come from abroad, further enriching the diversity at LCI Barcelona, where students from 47 different nationalities learn and work side by side.
Last week, it was our faculty's turn to participate in several training sessions to familiarize themselves with the new campus equipment and fine-tune the final details before the start of classes. Our teachers also enjoyed a welcome session with Alessandro Manetti, Sílvia Viudas, and the entire management team of LCI Barcelona.
We are entering the 2024-2025 academic year with great enthusiasm and a shared desire to continue growing together. This will be a year full of creativity, innovation, and great achievements. Welcome to LCI Education's European Hub!
