Alumni and faculty member María Lledó, winner of Next Gen Design 2025

Her project “La Fourmilière” will be showcased in an international travelling exhibition, and María will have the opportunity to take part in the Next Gen Design Residency Program.

We are thrilled to share that María Lledó Cisneros, alumni of the BA in Interior Design and current coordinator of the Master’s in Wellbeing, Neuroarchitecture, and Bioconstruction, has been selected as one of the winners of the prestigious Next Gen Design Competition 2025.

Under the theme "Redesign Tomorrow, Today", this year’s edition received over 200 submissions from emerging talents across 29 European countries. The competition jury recognized "", María’s final degree project supervised by professor , as one of the most innovative and impactful proposals. Also awarded at the 24th edition of the , the project envisions a , based on inclusive, accessible, and sustainable design.
