080 Barcelona Fashion once again showcases the talent of the LCI community

From October 14 to 17, faculty members and alumni from our School are taking part in the 36th edition of the Catalan Fashion Week.

080 Barcelona Fashion is back! From October 14 to 17, Catalonia’s fashion week celebrates its 36th edition with a program that brings together fashion shows, exhibitions, and activities focused on design, innovation, and sustainability. Once again, the talent trained and connected to LCI Barcelona will be strongly represented throughout the event at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau.

On Tuesday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m., the brand Escorpion will open the runway with its Holistic Getaway collection. The brand’s creative director, Jessica Raya, is a faculty member at our School and tutor for one of the Bachelor’s in Fashion Design project groups. That same day, Hotel ME Barcelona will host an opening party showcasing one look from The traces of my life, the 2024-2025 graduation collection by our alumni Miao Ye.

On Thursday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m., Guillermina Baeza will take the stage to present its new collection Heritage under the creative direction of Belén Larruy, faculty member at our School and director of our Master’s in Fashion Design. The final show of the day (8:30 p.m.) will feature Dominnico, debuting his Spring 2026 collection. Created by our Fashion Design alumni Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro, the brand continues to strengthen its national and international presence with every new proposal.

On Friday, October 17 at 1:15 p.m., the 7th edition of MODA-FAD’s Sustainable Challenge will take place under the theme Collective Mending, promoting responsible and collaborative design. The event will feature Charo Mora, co-director of our Master’s in Fashion Marketing, Communication, and Event Planning. Later that day, at 2:00 p.m., master’s alumni Juan Valentín-Gamazo will take to the runway with his collection Jaleo.

Once again, 080 Barcelona Fashion becomes the perfect showcase for the talent and creativity that define our community. Faculty, alumni, and students share the spotlight in an event that celebrates fashion as both a cultural expression and a driver of innovation. Discover all the details on its official website.
