Our campus hosted, at the end of the year, the award ceremony for the 8th edition of the LCI Barcelona Best High School Final Project Award. The event, held in the Montreal Room, was hosted by the Academic Director Miljana Micovic, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the quality of the projects presented, as well as the importance of fostering young talent that approaches the creative industries from the pre-university stage. The Heads of Department then presented the different awards, explaining the criteria that led the jury to recognise each of the projects.

First, the finalist projects were presented, starting with Vroda. Tradició en futur by Marharyta Brovchenko (Escola Vedruna Girona), which stood out for its reflection on Ukrainian cultural identity and its reinterpretation through contemporary design. Next, Disseny i creació pròpia d’una cadira by Íngrid Ubieto (Institut Lluís de Peguera - Manresa) highlighted a rigorous approach to the history of chair design, accompanied by a solid and well-documented practical application. Both finalists received a Polaroid camera.
