From the classroom to the runway: LCI Barcelona steps up at the new edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion
From April 14 to 17, alumni and faculty from our Fashion area will be taking part in the 37th edition of the Catalan fashion week, hosted for the first time at Barcelona's Port Vell.

This week, 080 Barcelona Fashion celebrates its 37th edition, from Tuesday, April 14 to Friday, April 17. It does so with a brand-new venue, the Port Vell, and an even stronger presence of our alumni and faculty at the Catalan fashion week. Want to find out how? Keep reading!
Three alumni brands in the 080Spot_SpainGallery showroom
One of the highlights of this edition is 080Spot_SpainGallery, a space designed for public engagement that enhances the cultural and social dimension of the event. It includes initiatives such as a free-access showroom featuring three brands founded by alumni from our Bachelor's in Fashion Design: Caducifolium, by Laia Badia; Salazar Studios, by Marta Salazar (who also completed the0Master's in Fashion Styling and Art Direction); and Paola Molet. The Caducifolium stand, sponsored by LCI Barcelona, is part of the brand's communication strategy, a project coordinated by professor Dani Cantó with a team of students from the Bachelor's in Fashion Communication.

Biomaterials workshop with Caducifolium | April 15 - 6:00 p.m.
As well as being part of the showroom, alumni Laia Badia will share her creative process with the public in a hands-on workshop, also within the 080Spot_SpainGallery program. The designer, who builds the garments for her Caducifolium label using modular and regenerative biomaterials, will teach participants how to make them from scratch, just as she does for her collection. A project that made its mark at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid by pushing the boundaries between design and sustainability, between maker and consumer. More information and registration here.

The LCI community unveils its new collections
Over the course of the four-day event, graduates and faculty from our Fashion area programs will take to the runway with collections that showcase the breadth of creative visions at LCI Barcelona:
Escorpion - Heritage | April 14, 2:00 p.m.
Alumni and faculty member Jessica Raya has led since 2024 the creative direction of Escorpion, a Barcelona-based label founded in 1929 and an international reference in knitwear. With Heritage, she reclaims knitwear as a language of its own: hand-crafted structures, rich textures, and volumes that bridge artisanal tradition with a contemporary vision. A collection that doesn't look back out of nostalgia, but to move forward with greater purpose.

Bolaño - Plan B | April 14, 5:30 p.m.
Manuel Bolaño graduated from our School in 2007, winning the award for best collection of his class, and today shares his expertise as a tutor for final degree projects. With Plan B, his ongoing and timeless collection, he presents a hand-crafted proposal that weaves the romantic heritage of past haute couture with an entirely contemporary perspective.

AAA Studio - Señora, suélteme el brazo!!! | April 15, 12:30 p.m.
Arnau Climent developed his first collection and began building his brand's profile while studying with us. Now he arrives on the runway with a 33-look proposal that reads as a generational statement: a refusal to justify itself against inherited norms, translated into silhouettes that challenge functionality and combinations that don't ask for permission.

Boulard Barcelona - With Kind Regards | April 15, 2:00 p.m.
Ugo Boulard makes his runway debut with a three-chapter collection that explores the epistolary world (writing, paper, wax seals) as a symbol of intimacy and timelessness. An introduction that also marks the arrival of his first womenswear looks. His team includes professor Susanna Canalda and several students from the School.

Dominnico - Soft Armor Fall 2026 | April 15, 8:30 p.m.
Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro marks the tenth anniversary of his brand with a collection that turns duality into an aesthetic manifesto. Soft Armor reframes strength through sensitivity: pastel tones freed from innocence, structured materials released from rigidity. Our alumni, who has already dressed the likes of Beyoncé, Rosalía, and Lady Gaga, continues to build his voice from Barcelona.

Tania Marcial - Delivery | April 17, 11:00 a.m.
LCI alumni and faculty member Tania Marcial presents her most autobiographical collection to date. Delivery draws from her years delivering pizzas while studying: temperature contrasts, the different roles within the delivery chain, the street, and the working class as raw material. Fabrics created from scratch, custom typography, and an aesthetic that blends maximalism, sarcasm, and commitment.

Maison Moonsieur - Sancta Machina | April 17, 12:30 p.m.
Marc Sáez, alumni of our Pattern Making programs, presents a collection under his Maison Moonsieur label born from a childhood memory: the first time he saw the statue of Joan of Arc in Orléans. Sancta Machina is a tribute structured in four acts (The Call, The Armour, The Fire, and The Saint) exploring regeneration and inner strength through organza, faux leather, and burned lace.
